Minutes after former Vice President Joe Biden salvaged his campaign with his first ever state presidential primary victory, President Donald jumped in to ridicule him and Mike Bloomberg.

Trump's barbs included his trademark "Sleepy Joe" and "Mini Mike" barbs, attacking the Democrats' age and slight stature.

Trump tweeted:

"Sleepy Joe Biden's victory in the South Carolina Democrat Primary should be the end of Mini Mike Bloomberg's Joke of a campaign. After the worst debate performance in the history of presidential debates, Mini Mike now has Biden split up his very few voters, taking many away!"

Until his quickly projected victory in South Carolina on Saturday night – billed as the Biden primary campaign firewall – Biden had not won a state presidential primary in three election cycles.

Bloomberg, meanwhile, was not even on the South Carolina ballot, and has spent millions on ad campaigns in the Super Tuesday states, including California and Texas, where a large portion of the Democratic delegates will be won March 3.
