Over 600 Minnesota people who blocked a freeway during an anti-Trump protest were arrested on Wednesday and Thursday, according to The Hill.
The demonstration was organized by “Don't Let Trump Steal the Election," which is made up of various groups in Minneapolis.
The protesters were opposing the lawsuit filed against Michigan by the Trump campaign due to alleged voting irregularities.
The Star Tribune has reported that close to 1,000 people took part in the demonstration.
"No force or chemicals were used, and no protesters or law enforcement officers were injured during the incident,” the Minnesota Department of Public Safety said in a statement.
According to the protest group, “Some were detained and are currently unaccounted for."
