Mitt Romney is set to deliver a commencement at Indiana's Trine University on Saturday — but what he'll be talking about is a mystery.
No details have been released as to what the former Massachusetts governor and two-time presidential candidate Romney will be talking about to the senior class of 500 undergrads.
And university officials insist that Romney will not speak with the press during his visit to Angola, where the 450-acre, 3,500-student campus is located,
wtvbam.com reports.
Trine president Earl Brooks said in a
statement posted on the university's website:
"We are excited to have a person of Mitt Romney's stature embrace a crucial role for our commencement. His leadership and business acumen are standards for which our graduates and others can strive. His love of our nation and devotion to his family are also admirable."
Romney, who unsuccessfully ran for president in 2008 and 2012, had been talked about in GOP circles as a possible spoiler to Donald Trump's quest for the Republican presidential nomination this year.
But Romney has repeatedly said he's sitting this year's race out.
His commencement speech comes four days after Ted Cruz dropped out of the race after being soundly beaten by Trump in The Hoosier State primary.
