President Donald Trump said Monday Republicans will "win the entire election" if House Democrats and Speaker Nancy Pelosi push for another impeachment trial to disrupt the nomination process to confirm his pick to replace late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

"I heard yesterday if I do it, they're going to impeach me," Trump said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "So, they're impeaching me for doing constitutionally what I have to do. I think then we win the election, then we win all elections if they do that. My numbers went up last time they did it."

Pelosi on Sunday would not rule out seeking impeachment proceedings against Trump or Attorney General William Barr, telling ABC's George Stephanopoulos Sunday that "we have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now,” and that the president "has threatened to not even accept the results of the election."

Trump said he doesn't want articles of impeachment filed to drive up GOP numbers, but if they are, it will help his numbers and those of Senate Republicans.

That would include Sen. Susan Collins, who was "very badly hurt by her statement" that the person elected president on Nov. 3 should nominate the next justice, said Trump.

"I think that Susan Collins is going to be hurt very badly," said Trump of the Maine Republican. "Her people are not going to take this. So that's it. I mean, if they want to go again, but don't forget, we were put in this position by voters, and we have a lot of time. It's not like we have two days, we have a lot of time as this goes."

He added that Rep. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, will be hurt in two years when she seeks reelection because she has called to delay the nomination.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of time to approve the nomination, whether that comes before or after the election, said Trump, but he prefers that the approval happen before Nov. 3.

There is also "zero chance" that Democrats wouldn't approve a nomination if they controlled the Senate, said Trump, as "they'd be doing it, and they'd be doing it probably a lot faster than we'll do it."
