The White House is mounting a "full-court press" to pass a newly released bill to repeal Obamacare – and President Donald Trump, who wrote a book on "The Art of the Deal," is "very much in a sell mode," press secretary Sean Spicer declared Wednesday.

Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, Cabinet secretaries and other administration officials plan to criss-cross the country and flood local radio and television markets to promote legislation that has gotten push-back from some conservatives, according to The Washington Post.

"We're on Day 2," Spicer said Wednesday, per the Washington Examiner.

"We've been out on talk radio in local markets . . . [Trump] has already talked to insurance agents and executives. He met with governors, attorneys general, and I think there's a meeting coming up with lieutenant governors."

"We're going to be aggressively talking about the solution" House Republicans and the White House has offered, he said, per the Examiner.

Trump is "very much in a sell mode," Spicer added.

The president will head to Louisville, Ky., Saturday to talk about the bill, Kentucky.com reported.

And Pence had already conducted several interviews – on Wednesday alone – with conservative Fox News' Sean Hannity, as well as local radio stations in: Washington, D.C.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Milwaukee; Cleveland; Pittsburgh; Charlotte, N.C.; and Orlando, Fla., according to McClatchy News.

Republican leaders hope to vote on the bill in the House, send it to the Senate, and put it on Trump's desk before Easter, McClatchy reported.

Next week, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office is expected to say how much the proposal will add to federal budget deficits and how many people could lose health insurance coverage – an analysis that Spicer seemed skeptical of.

"If you're looking to the CBO for accuracy, you’re looking in the wrong place," he said, per McClatchy.
