Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-Texas, who raised $38.1 million from July to September in his bid to unseat Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, said he will not be sharing any of the money with other Democratic candidates, the Washington Examiner is reporting.
“Folks contributed to this race because they want us to win this race,” he said. “If they want to contribute to another campaign, of course they're welcome to do that.
“I’m focused on Texas. Most of our contributions have come from Texas. All of them have come from people. Not a dime from PACs."
O’Rourke vowed “to spare no expense” leading up to November, according to the Examiner.
A Quinnipiac University Poll, released Thursday, showed Cruz with a 54-45 percent lead over O’Rourke.
