A CNN anchor says that the lack of trust in Hillary Clinton seems to be a trend for the former secretary of state, and "a trend means a real problem they need to overcome."
A recent
Quinnipiac University Poll showed that Clinton is losing in an head-to-head match up with Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, and Scott Walker in three key swing states: Colorado, Iowa and Virginia.

But the "trust deficit" voters have with Clinton, which was also revealed in the poll, is "a real problem," says CNN anchor Kate Bolduan, explaining that other polls have highlighted this fact as well.
According to the poll released Wednesday, 62 percent of voters in Colorado, 59 percent of Iowa voters, and 55 percent of voters in Virginia said that Clinton is "not honest and trustworthy."
CNN reporter Jeremy Diamond said those are the key numbers in the poll.
"That continues to raise questions after the emails, after the server issue, after multiple issues that Republicans have raised, even going back to Benghazi," Diamond explained. "Republicans are quickly going to quickly seize on these numbers."
The CNN politics reporter said that Clinton "is going to need to find a way to convince voters to trust her again — that's always a key question in every presidential election."
"She was not as forthcoming" regarding the email server scandal in her
recent interview with CNN host Brianna Keilar. "The Clinton campaign isn't making much of a dent there so far, as far as these numbers are concerned."
Diamond added that "these numbers are good for Republicans and bad for Democrats."
NBC Political Director and "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd said on MSNBC on Wednesday morning that "if it wasn't for Donald Trump, the biggest story of the summer would be Hillary Clinton's problems solidifying herself inside the Democratic Party."
