Government Democrats are not budging from the failed policies that have left the United States less prosperous, and a Hillary Clinton presidency "only means more of the same failed status quo," of the past eight years, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus warned on Saturday.
"They've been following the same aggressive tax and spend blueprint for decades," said Priebus in this weekend's GOP address, delivered just after the Republican National Convention closed its doors and just hours before Clinton was to formally introduce Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine as her running mate.
Republicans are the "party of new ideas" in a rapidly changing world, Priebus said Saturday.
"We want to get rid of job-killing regulations and stimulate innovation that will keep middle-class families thriving," said Priebus. "Democrats want the federal government to impose one size fits all policies on everybody. We say an independent people deserves individual solutions."
Republicans, he continued, "believe in better," when it comes to schools, healthcare, the government and the economy.
"Most of all, we believe in a better chance at the American dream for everyone," said Priebus.
Clinton, though, would continue the failures of the Obama administration, Priebus said, including racking up "unprecedented debt that sent your healthcare premiums soaring because of Obamacare."
He further warned that Clinton, as president, will cause America to drift even further from conservative values, including limited government, free enterprise, a strong national defense, and empowering the nation's foreign powers.
"It was on her watch ISIS started to spread its wings of darkness over the Middle East and Libya became a playground for radical Islamic terrorists," said Priebus.
He also warned that Clinton would "stack the Supreme Court" with activists and extreme liberal judges "who will treat the Constitution like a doormat."
