President Donald Trump has long considered the American election process rigged for Democrats, but, according to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, it might only get worse.
"Not only do you have crooked politicians running crooked elections, but you have crooked . . . Internet companies deliberately censoring and biasing," Gingrich told Sunday's "The Cats Roundtable" on WABC 770 AM-N.Y.
Unless this presidential election's corruption is exposed, Republicans will face too many obstacles to winning a fair election in the future, Gingrich told host John Catsimatidis.
"It's not about Donald Trump," Gingrich continued. "It's about your right as an American citizen to assume that your vote is sacred – to assume that every legal vote will be counted, and that illegal votes will not be counted – because otherwise the illegal votes drowned out the legal votes and cheat the legal citizens of their right to representation.
"I never thought it would be this corrupt."
Gingrich noted a "number of corporate lobbyists" in the prospective Biden administration "almost guarantees it may be the most corrupt administration since Harding in 1921."
"The Hunter Biden stuff is real," he added. "The amount of money coming out of China, Russia, and Ukraine is real. The degree to which all of that has been covered up is real. I think all of us have to recognize how serious a problem this is."
And now the two Jan. 5 Georgia Senate runoffs will be compromised, too, according to Gingrich.
"Unless [Republicans] fix this, they're going to have a hard time winning the election," he concluded. "The Democrats have nominated two left-wingers who, in an honest election, could not possibly win an election. Therefore, the only hope the Democrats have is to find a way to steal it.
"Given what they did in the presidential election, I think it's a very great danger that they will find a way to steal it."
