RNC's McDaniel Slams Dems for Obstructing Tax Cuts

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel sent out a tweet on Tuesday accusing the Democrats of fighting against the GOP tax plan even though she says it will help fellow Americans.

Democrats are obstructing tax cuts for the American people. They’re resisting the President at all costs - even if it means blocking money to the American people who work so hard and deserve a pay increase.

McDaniel has stressed the importance of passing the tax bill for the GOP with midterm elections now less than a year away.

Her tweet comes as America First Policies, a nonprofit group aligned with President Donald Trump, launched a radio ad that is running this week aimed at urging his supporters to fight for tax reform, according to McClatchy DC.

The House passed its version of the tax bill last week without any Democratic support.

The Senate is expected to take up its own tax proposal after Thanksgiving.
