Robby Mook, who served as Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, slammed FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday, following a CNN report the intelligence community had information that now President-elect Donald Trump's campaign was alleged to have met with representatives of the Russian government.
Mook was referring to Comey's controversial report just 11 days before the Nov. 8 election his office was looking into a new batch of emails from Clinton's private email server. Two days before the vote, Comey said the emails had been looked at, and no further action against Clinton needed to be taken.
But Democrats argued the damage had been done, and many blamed his report on her unexpected loss to Trump.
According to the CNN report Tuesday, Trump was briefed last week by top intelligence officials on information a former British intelligence official doing opposition research on Trump during the campaign that Russia had compromising personal and business-related information on Trump.
