Mitt Romney's speech last week urging Republicans to vote against presidential front-runner Donald Trump appears to have helped Trump more than it hurt him, according to a poll by Morning Consult released Tuesday.

Of GOP voters, the result was:
  • Less likely to vote for Trump: 20 percent
  • More likely to vote for Trump: 31 percent
  • No change in likelihood to vote for Trump: 43 percent
Among Trump supporters:
  • Less likely: 5 percent
  • More likely: 56 percent
  • No change: 36 percent
Among people who voted for Romney in 2012:
  • Less likely: 20 percent
  • More likely: 30 percent
  • No change: 48 percent
The poll was taken March 4-6, but no margin of error was given.
