House Speaker Paul Ryan is heading to Palm Beach with his "Team Ryan" fundraising committee to powwow with wealthy Republican donors.
Ryan will spend Thursday and Friday at the historic resort hotel The Breakers where he'll hold a "closed-door retreat," the Palm Beach Post reports.
A spokeswoman for the Wisconsin Republican said that one topic will be healthcare, but that no new plan will be presented to replace Ryan's American Health Care Act.
The legislation – also known as "Ryancare" and "Trumpcare" crashed and burned on Capitol Hill last week after a vote to approve it was withdrawn due to a lack of GOP support.
"We are not unveiling a new plan in Florida. It’s a political event and we are not unveiling a plan there," AshLee Strong told the Post.
The Breakers is Palm Beach's premier hotel located on 140 acres of oceanfront property, with rooms that go for $699 to $2,400 a night.
It's likely that during their two-day stay, Ryan and his staff will stop by President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club, which is three miles away from where they’ll be staying. Next week, Trump will host Chinese President Xi Jinping at the private club which is dubbed "The Winter White House."
