The time it takes lawmakers to work on tax reform is the topmost concern with Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va.

"Time is always a problem. The more time that goes, the more nitpicking and the more likelihood that one member or another may find a certain thing they don't like," Capito said Monday on "Fox & Friends."

"We are at the 10-yard line," toward resolving the differences between the House and Senate versions of the legislation, Capito said on the show.

Capito said she was disappointed that Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., her fellow West Virginian, did not support the Senate version of the tax reform legislation when it passed.

"I was disappointed that he didn't vote with us, but there's still time," Capito said. "We are going to get this across the finish line, for sure."

On Saturday, Capito posted a video on Twitter about the Senate's passage of tax reform legislation.

"This is huge . . . I know it will move our state and our economy in a positive direction," she said in the video.
