Trump Says China Will Solve North Korean Problem 'If They Want to'

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Friday with a toned-down message for China — you can solve "North Korean problem" if you want to.

The tweet comes a day after North Korea vowed a "super-mighty preemptive strike" against the U.S.

Trump on Thursday said the U.S. was in a "very good position" after some positive movement by China earlier in the day to put pressure on Pyongyang.

"I have great respect for the president of China," Trump said Thursday. "He is working very hard. I can say that all of the pundits out there are saying they've never seen China work like they're working right now."
