President Donald Trump announced he will not take questions from CNN.

The president's comments came during a Friday press conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May. A video excerpt of Trump's remarks about CNN was posted by Fox News on its Twitter account.

"Since you attacked CNN can I ask you a question?" CNN correspondent Jim Acosta said, referring to an earlier remark from Trump.

Trump then went to John Roberts of Fox News for a question. When Acosta persisted, Trump said: "CNN is fake news. I don't take questions from CNN.

"Let's go to a real network," Trump said as he went back to Roberts for the question.

Trump has long been critical of CNN and frequently labels it "fake news," The Hill noted.
