Trump: I Didn't Fire Comey Over 'Phony Russia Investigation'

President Donald Trump continued his attacks on former FBI Directory James Comey, saying on Twitter Wednesday that he did not fire the "slippery" Comey "because of the phony Russia investigation."

Trump has tweeted a number of insults at Comey, who is promoting his tell-all book about his time in the Trump administration, "A Higher Loyalty."
