President Donald Trump doesn't appear to be all that bullish on Republican lawmakers' latest whack at healthcare reform, telling media members Monday that he may delay action on it until September, the Washington Examiner reported.
"Will it be this week or next week, I don't know," Trump told members of conservative media at a reception at the White House, the Examiner reported.
"We could come back in September, but we'll see what we get now."
That would seem to echo the update from press secretary Sean Spicer on Monday who said it might be weeks before a vote comes on the latest Obamacare repeal and replace proposal from House Republicans.
"I think we have the votes. We're going to be very close to having the votes. But again, we're going to get zero Democrat votes … zero from the other side," Trump said. "They're obstructionists. And it's too bad but they are absolutely obstructionists."
