President Donald Trump blasted Democrats who want to abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, saying they have a “death wish.”
His comments came in a Thursday morning tweet.
The House passed a resolution on Wednesday supporting ICE. The resolution was sponsored by Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La., and was approved by a vote of 244 to 35 with 133 lawmakers voting present, Fox News reported.
House Republicans have painted Democratic lawmakers as outside the mainstream on the issue of ICE, the news network said.
