Trump Blasts 'Obstructionists' Who May Vote Against Pompeo

President Donald Trump on Monday went after obstructionist Democrats who might very well shoot down the committee endorsement of Mike Pompeo for secretary of state.

Trump's tweet comes ahead of a key vote Monday in the Foreign Relations committee, where every Democrat as well as Republican Sen. Rand Paul have reportedly vowed to vote against Pompeo.

Republicans could still get a full Senate vote for Pompeo, but it would be a major embarrassment; no secretary of state in modern times has won confirmation without getting a committee endorsement.
