President Donald Trump on Sunday lashed out at former FBI Director James Comey and ex-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, accusing the fired agency leaders of lying — and bashed special counsel Robert Mueller's investigative team as deeply partisan.

The condemnation came in a fiery tweetstorm — fueled by a discussion on Fox & Friends Sunday — amid a roiling controversy set off by Friday night's ouster of McCabe and reports of his handing over memo's he had written after every meeting with the president.

And it took pointed aim at Comey for "clearly" lying in Senate testimony last May 3.

Trump's reference to "Senator G" was to Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, who heads the Senate Judiciary Committee and introduced Comey before his statement on the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Trump also asserted he "spent very little time with Andrew McCabe, but he never took notes when he was with me."

Trump also repeated his assertion there was "no collusion" between his campaign and Russia, and questioned the politics of the investigative team, charging they are comprised of "13 hardened Democrats."
