President Donald Trump is mulling major changes to his White House staff, including replacing Reince Priebus and the departure of Stephen Bannon, Axios reported.

A short list of candidates has emerged to replace Priebus, notably Rep. Kevin McCarthy, part of the Republican leadership in the House, Axios reported.

Other candidates, according to Axios:

  • Wayne Berman, an operative who worked in George H.W. Bush's administration.
  • David Urban, who helped Trump win Pennsylvania.
