NAACP: Trump's 'Lynching' Remark 'Disgusting'

The NAACP blasted President Donald Trump for comparing impeachment to a “lynching” and said it his comment was “infuriating and disgusting.”

The remarks by the NAACP came in a tweet Tuesday. Trump, in commenting on Democrats’ effort to impeach him, had tweeted earlier: “All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here - a lynching,” Trump said.

In response, the NAACP tweeted: “To compare impeachment to a lynching is both infuriating and disgusting. It supersedes any level of insensitivity and ignorance previously displayed by President Trump. No more excuses no more explanations. #impeachHate."
