President Donald Trump on Tuesday asked if members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization will repay the United States just before the upcoming NATO summit in Brussels.

This follows his calls for NATO countries to "pay more" and for the U.S. to "pay less," which he made on Twitter early Tuesday morning.

Trump continued his cricicsm after landing in Brussels:

Trump left on his week-long European trip on Tuesday. He will attend the NATO summit in Brussels on Wednesday and Thursday before traveling to England to meet British Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth II, and then flying to Helsinki to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
