President Donald Trump returned to battering the Russia investigation, again calling the probe into possible collusion a "witch hunt!"
The tweets come in the aftermath Rick Gates, the former campaign sidekick to Paul Manafort, pleading guilty last week to fraud and lying. Gates intends to cooperate with the special counsel's investigation.
Trump continued his months-long trend of trashing the investigation, just not the chief investigator, Robert Mueller, with whom Trump's legal team is negotiating the terms of the president's interview with the special counsel.
