President Donald Trump took to Twitter again Sunday to lament coverage of his administration and its fight against "fake news," calling much of the U.S. news media "indeed the enemy of the people."
Looking back on the coverage of his summit with North Korea's Kim Jong Un, President Trump started a four-part tweetstorm, decrying he is in a non-win situation.
Pointing toward Monday's meeting in Helsinki, Finland, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Trump said it would not matter what is accomplished, because he will ultimately "return to criticism it wasn't good enough."
President Trump added a repeated show at the "resist and obstruct" mission of his Democrat political opposition, saying he aims to "heal" the "hatred and dissension in our country."
Some 45 minutes later, President Trump praised France's World Cup championship and Putin's "truly great World Cup Tournament – one of the best ever."
