Some Republicans are breaking with party tradition and refusing to support Donald Trump, now that his Indiana primary win appears to place him as the presumptive GOP nominee for president.

According to The New York Times, social media posts and interviews reveal a flurry of Republicans saying they will not vote for Trump.

Former deputy press secretary for George W. Bush, Tony Fratto wrote, "#NeverTrump means never ever ever ever ever under any circumstances as long as I have breath never Trump," according to the Times report.

Tim Miller, co-founder of America Rising Super PAC tweeted:

Some are now openly saying they will vote for the possible Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton. John McCain's strategist Mark Salter said in a tweet:

Others in the GOP have said in the past they would support Trump if he became the nominee, but are now changing their minds.

"I think Donald Trump has proven to be unbalanced and uniquely unqualified to be president," Stuart Stevens, Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign strategist said, according to the Times.

Some Ted Cruz supporters say they had made peace with Trump's win. Conservative radio host David Limbaugh, Rush Limbaugh's brother, tweeted:

Trump did not seem fazed by any of the comments, saying many who opposed him are now coming around to his side.

"They are calling to say 'We'd love to get on the train.' The Trump train," he said, according to the Times.
