Fifty percent of likely voters now approve of President Donald Trump's job performance, while 49 percent disapprove, the Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll for Friday reveals.
It marks the highest job rating for Trump since June 16, 2017 when he also recorded a 50 percent approval in the poll, according to Rasmussen Reports. At that time, 50 percent of those polled also disapproved of his performance.
By comparison, President Barack Obama had a 45 percent approval on this date in his second year of his presidency.
Trump's approval rating on Thursday stood at 48 percent with 51 percent disapproving. Until Friday, his daily approval rating had been running between 45-49 percent in February.
The poll surveyed 500 likely voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
