Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Sen. Elizabeth Warren haven't always seen eye-to-eye, but when it comes Donald Trump and his pick of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence for a running mate, Warren wasn't pulling any punches Saturday.

The Massachusetts Democrat, within minutes of Trump's formal introduction of Pence — who he'd initially announced through Twitter on Friday, Warren started lambasting Pence through her own Twitter account, firing off several tweets in which she called both Trump and Pence "small, insecure, weak men" who would take the nation in a "terrifying" direction: Clinton's campaign, which had started its attacks on Friday with campaign chairman John Podesta calling him "an incredibly divisive and unpopular running mate known for supporting discriminatory politics and failed economic policies."

The campaign also hit Pence on social and economic issues, calling him "the most extreme pick in a generation" and highlighting Pence's signing of an "anti-LGBT law" as governor.

Further, Clinton's side complained, Pence "personally led the fight to defund Planned Parenthood" as a congressman. "Pence has been no economic leader or friend to the American worker," the campaign added in its release. "Pence opposes raising the federal minimum wage and signed a law allowing skilled workers in Indiana to be paid less."

And on Clinton's Twitter page, her campaign posted numerous anti-Pence tweets, saying he is bad for "the economy, women, immigrants, and literally the planet." Related Stories:
