Fifty percent registered voters think members of President Donald Trump's campaign colluded with Russia to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, according to the most recent The Washington Post-ABC poll.

Fifty percent also approve of the way FBI special counsel Robert Mueller has been handling the collusion probe despite Trump calling it "the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history!"

Only 14 percent of Republicans think Trump's team colluded compared to 83 percent of Democrats and 48 percent of Independents. Seventy-one percent of Democrats approve of the job Mueller is doing while 28 percent of Republicans do. Fifty percent of Independents approve.

Multiple intelligence agencies have concluded Russia did interfere in the election, but Mueller is investigating whether Trump and his team took any part.

Trump on Wednesday said he is "looking forward" to speaking with Mueller in the coming weeks, and is willing to do it under oath.

"Here is the story: There has been no collusion whatsoever. There is no obstruction whatsoever. And I'm looking forward to it," Trump told a group of reporters who were meeting with White House chief of staff John Kelly at the White House.
