Kudos to Boehner and GOP for Chairmen Term Limits

I commend Speaker John Boehner and other members of the House Republican Conference for reinstating six-year term limits on chairmanships of committees in the House of Representatives.

A return to true constitutionally conservative small government requires the power of committee chairmen be limited and the internal power structures within Congress be refreshed, as Ronald Reagan once said, with new leaders unfettered by old ties and old relationships.

Conservatives and tea partyers should be heartened by the return of this important rule, plus the decision to require that all bills state their constitutional bases.
