2 Events Prove Biden's Border Chaos Deliberate Effort to Raise Dem Voter Base

As the number of illegal border crossings soared since President Joe Biden took office, pundits have been debating whether this debacle was deliberate or the result gross incompetence. Well, two events that transpired this past month prove that the border chaos was all by design.

As the news cycle was at its lowest ebb at any point in the year, the president’s handlers on Thanksgiving eve announced that as early as the following week he would reinstitute President Trump’s vastly successful “Remain in Mexico” policy, which had brought illegal immigration to a near screeching halt.

But that was only after we heard that the New York City Council announced earlier in that week that it was ready to pass alarming legislation that will allow noncitizens to vote in its local elections. That bill passed this week, and clears the way for over 800,000 new voters (who, if they fit the pattern, will vote overwhelmingly Democrat, notwithstanding recent polls showing Hispanics shifting somewhat to the right) to be eligible for the franchise.

Ah, so now we see the Democrats’ master plan was in place from the start. Open the border for Biden's first year in office to flood the nation with 2 million new potential voters, and then on the sleepiest weekend of the year start the process of closing off the border as we approach the midterms, thereby erasing the issue from memory.

(While a court ruled the Trump era policy should be restored, Biden’s team happily used the decision as cover to start the process.)

It didn’t take a genius to figure this out. In a shocking statement made during a Democratic debate in 2020, Biden made it clear that open borders would be part of his platform — at least for a while. We need immigrants “to immediately surge the border,” said Biden, bowing to the progressives by doing a complete 180 from his previous tough stance on illegal immigration.

Who would ever think that a major candidate preaching for open borders would wind up victorious? But the American people looked the other way.

Or, perhaps they thought that “Middle Class Joe” was only parroting these words for political purposes to get elected and then would revert to his former moderate self (sort of how candidate Barack Obama pretended to be against gay marriage in the 2008 campaign). Or, perhaps they just held their noses as they thought anything was better than the mean tweets which characterized Trump’s tenure.

Quite a chance the American people took. Unfortunately, the electorate didn’t listen to the great, late poet, Maya Angelo, who wrote the immortal words, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

Biden was telling us that this was no longer “Amtrak Joe” who would protect the middle class. No, this was now “Woke Joe” who would jump as high as Bernie Sanders, AOC and the squad would set the hoop.

Illegal immigration has cost this nation’s taxpayers over $116 billion a year, according to the Federation for Immigration Reform, and the American people have loathed the idea of allowing people to cut the line, thereby placing these burdens on our schools, hospitals and criminal justice systems.

But the elites in Washington on both sides of the aisle ignored them for decades. Why? Republicans loved the cheap labor, while Democrats saw these newcomers as additional voters they could rely upon.

Both parties sold out America’s working class, who saw their wages stagnate due to the competition from the illegal labor. But it was the Democrats who were the true beneficiaries.

States that were once solidly red, such as Arizona, shifted purple. States that were swing battleground venues such as Virginia and Colorado, morphed into bastions of blue (notwithstanding the recent aberration of Glenn Youngkin’s gubernatorial victory).

And now, even one of the most reliable Republican states of all — Texas — will soon be up for grabs.

The Democrats are so close they can taste it. But they still needed to import enough additional illegal immigrants to put them over the top. Thus was born the Left’s open border plan so brazenly implemented by the new president in January 2020.

Contrary to the opinion of many political commentators, this was not incompetence at all. It was a very clever plan put in place by Democratic operatives to open the borders early on while the new president would be on his honeymoon and his liberal allies in the media would give him a pass by barely reporting on the surges.

But these operatives are not dumb. They knew at some point the public would find out about this lunacy and rebel.

If the open border policy were occurring as COVID was conquered and the economy had reverted to its 2019 form, it might have been overlooked. But after the Afghanistan debacle, COVID mandates and gas prices hitting $5 in some states, Joe’s Scranton base is raising the pitchforks.

The Democrats took a shellacking this past election, as independent and moderate Democrats began to push back against Biden’s capitulation to the socialists now controlling the party. The party leaders see the writing on the wall.

They already have their 2 million potential new voters safely ensconced within the country, as they tout amnesty for all. Now they can re-institute Trump's successful policies to close the border and make the absurd claim that they fixed the problem that no one else could. \

(Meanwhile, bills allowing mere residency to be the threshold for voter eligibility will continue to sprout.)

Vote for us, the Dems will ask. Thanks to their clever plan, they will likely have two-thirds of these new arrivals doing just that.
