14 Pandas in a Crib: Too-Cute Gathering of Cubs Goes Viral (Video)

The Internet is swooning Wednesday after video footage of 14 pandas born recently in China showed the cubs cuddled together in a crib.

It was the first time the artificially bred baby pandas were together since their birth at the Chengdu Panda Base in Sichuan Province, China, earlier this past summer.

Chengdu is a nonprofit center "engaged in wildlife research, captive breeding, conservation education, and educational tourism," according to its website.

Only about 1,000 pandas are left in the world, and almost 80 percent of them live in Chengdu's Sichuan province, according to ABC News. Other countries' zoos are permitted to rent the endangered animals, but all cubs born to pandas abroad still belong to China.

Panda lovers all over sighed a collective "awww" on Twitter when they saw the photos and videos of the 14 pandas in a crib.
