"All firefighters were evaluated by medical personnel and no serious injuries reported," Brattleboro Memorial Hospital said in a news release.
The storms that produced the lightning were part of a system that hit the Northeast and New England this week with heavy rain.

Firefighters from nine area departments fought the blaze.
