Aaron Paul SNL: 'Breaking Bad' Jesse in Obamacare Skit (Video)

Aaron Paul took his "Breaking Bad" character Jesse to New York as he appeared on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend and did a hilarious skit on Obamacare.

The skit showed President Barack Obama, played by Jay Pharoah, pitching the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare, to a crowd. Obama called various members of the audience up to testify for law, wrapping up with Paul, in character as "Breaking Bad's" Jesse Pinkman, Walt White's right-hand man in his meth kingdom.

Paul plays off the premise of "Breaking Bad" and its protagonist, Walter White, who becomes a major drug dealer and murderer in New Mexico to support his family after being diagnosed with cancer.

Introduced by Obama as "Jesse from New Mexico," he went into his story, "I have this friend. He got sick; like cancer sick," he said. "Because there wasn't Obamacare, he couldn't afford the treatments. He was like backed into a corner, if you know what I mean."

Obama explains, "Keep in mind, this man was a teacher with a family," as the audience laughed along.

"He did what any of us would have done," Jesse said. "He started cooking meth. And soon it wasn't just meth, it was murder. And not regular murder, he blew half a guy's face off."

Jesse added, "Don't you want to know to know what happened to my friend?" giving a nod to "Breaking Bad" fans who were eagerly awaiting the series finale.

Paul also appeared in a pre-recorded satirical commercial for E-meth, poking fun at E-cigarettes

"You know it's good, because it's blue," Paul said, referring to the "blue meth" characters on "Breaking Bad" peddle.

Paul also showed up on SNL's popular "Weekend Update" skit. Drunk Uncle, played by Bobby Moynihan, introduces Paul as his "meth nephew" who he is going to watch the final episode of "Breaking Bad" with.

Emmy Award-winner Tina Fey hosted Saturday's show. Fey is a former SNL chief writer and cast member.
