Alec Baldwin said he will bring his Donald Trump impersonation back to “SNL” in the fall, although it will be more occasional because of his busy fall schedule.

While promoting his new movie “Blind,” the 59-year-old actor said when asked about doing more Trump on “SNL,” “Yea, we’re going to fit that in. I think people have enjoyed it,” Baldwin told CNN. He said that his appearances would be fewer than in previous seasons, however.

Baldwin had said in March that he didn’t know if he would play Trump on “SNL” again because he wasn’t sure how much more of it the audience could take, CNN reported.

The actor set the record last season for hosting “Saturday Night Live” the most times (17), and he lampooned Trump throughout the last season, both before and after the election.

Baldwin also stated previously that the Trump administration’s “maliciousness” made him hesitant to reprise his role, stating that people were “very worried,” US Weekly reported.

“There will be a couple of celery sticks of that every now and then but not a whole meal maybe,” Baldwin said of his Trump impressions while talking with CNN’s Chloe Melas about “Blind.”

During a Spike TV roast of Baldwin on Sunday night at New York City’s Apollo Theater, stars like Robert De Niro, Julianne Moore, Tracy Morgan, and Horatio Sans all mentioned Baldwin’s Trump impressions favorably during their comments, CNN reported.

Trump tweeted unfavorably about Baldwin’s impersonations throughout last season of “SNL,” calling the skits “boring,” “unfunny,” and “sad,” US Weekly reported.

One Twitter user thought anyone who used Trump’s name should pay royalties, while others were just happy to see Baldwin coming back to skewer Trump some more.
