Alyssa Milano has admitted that she thought she was "dying" from the coronavirus. The "Charmed" actress revealed on Wednesday in an Instagram post that she had never felt as sick as she did in April, when she first fell ill.

Amazingly, she test negative for coronavirus twice! She later tested negative for the antibodies. But those were all false negatives and she later tested positive for the antibodies.

"Everything hurt," Milano captioned a photo of herself on what appears to be a ventilator. "Loss of smell. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t keep food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever. And the headaches were horrible. I basically had every Covid symptom."

Four months later and Milano is still experiencing lingering symptoms that include "vertigo, stomach abnormalities, irregular periods, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, zero short term memory, and general malaise."

When she first fell ill, Milano went to get tested twice, both times the results came back negative. She also received a negative result in her COVID-19 antibody test, which determines whether or not a person has been exposed to the novel coronavirus, but was not convinced by the results. She recently went to have a third antibody test and the result came back positive.

"I had Covid19," Milano wrote, adding that she wanted to shed light on how "flawed" the testing system is.

"I also want you to know, this illness is not a hoax," she continued. "I thought I was dying. It felt like I was dying. I will be donating my plasma with hopes that I might save a life. Please take care of yourselves. Please wash your hands and wear a mask and social distance. I don’t want anyone to feel the way I felt."
