Amanda Blackburn, the pregnant wife of an Indianapolis pastor, was shot in her home Tuesday in what police suspect was a home invasion. She died Wednesday.

The couple's 1-year-old child, Weston, was home at the time of the attack and was uninjured, according to WTHR.

Davey Blackburn, a youth pastor at Resonate Church, was at the gym and returned home around 8:30 a.m. to find his wife unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities validated Davey Blackburn's story with surveillance footage from the gym and have said he has been "100-percent cleared" of any wrongdoing in the murder, according to the station.

Lt. Richard Riddle with the Indianapolis Metro Police Department told WTHR that police are looking for a connection between the homicide and another burglary that occurred in the area on the same morning.

"I know if anyone has any surveillance video we would certainly like look for it, look through it and see if there is anything suspicious on it that we can use for this particular case," Riddle said, adding that a homeowner had already given the police video from his security camera that may have identified suspicious individuals and a car in the area.

An outpouring of support for the Blackburn family has been dominating social media online. The Blackburns moved to Indianapolis to start the Resonate Church, according to the Indianapolis Star.

In a statement posted on the Resonate Church website, Davey Blackburn said, "My wife was such a beautiful, gracious, loving woman of God. I have not only lost my ministry partner and support but also my very best friend. There is no way to prepare yourself for circumstances like these. As deeply as I am hurting I am hopeful and confident that good things will come of this. I rest in the truth of Romans 8:28 that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose."

WTHR live-tweeted a Friday press conference with IMDB police, in which Indiana State police superintendent Doug Carter said to the killers of Amanda Blackburn: "We are coming."
