Hollywood problem child Amanda Bynes is mentally competent to stand trial for her 2012 DUI, a judge ruled Wednesday.
The troubled actress is "capable of understanding the nature of the legal proceedings," according to TMZ, but remains under a conservatorship. Sources say she'll likely plead out the DUI case with a plea bargain.
Bynes, 27, was arrested last April on suspicion of DUI after allegedly sideswiping a sheriff's cruiser at 3 a.m. in Los Angeles. A judge transferred her case to the mental health division when she was placed on a 5150 hold in July after setting a small fire in the driveway of a Los Angeles-area home near her parents' house.

She was initially declared mentally unfit and sent to a psychiatric facility.
The former Nickelodeon star was moved to a "fancy Malibu rehab center" in September to continue treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, TMZ reported, and now a judge has declared her mentally fit.
The DUI is just one of the traffic-related mishaps that have contributed to the downfall of the starlet. Bynes also was picked up on a couple of charges of driving on a suspended license in Los Angeles last year before she moved to New York for a fresh start.
But her downward spiral continued as her behavior grew more and more bizarre. She's made headlines for everything from locking herself in dressing rooms for hours and shaving her head to posting semi-nude photos of herself on Twitter and hurling her favorite insult, "ugly," at anyone and everyone, including President Barack Obama.
