Amanda Bynes' involuntary commitment to a psychiatric facility was extended on Monday for an additional 30 days, TMZ reported.

Before a judge granted Amanda's doctors their request for the extension, Bynes had already spent 17 days in the facility.

Earlier this month, Bynes was reportedly tricked by a friend into flying from New York to Los Angeles, where her family committed her to Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, California. According to the hospital's website, it treats patients with "psychiatric, chemical dependency or co-occurring disorders."

Her recent spree of erratic behavior that landed her at the hospital includes a DUI arrest, a shoplifting accusation from Barney's department store, and, according to a new report, making "extensive" purchases of high-end jewelry and other items that she often gives away to strangers.

"Her parents say her net worth is currently $5,747,703.36. Of that, $2.8 mil is real property — homes. Her parents say Amanda's only income is from her rental property — $144,768 last year," TMZ reported Wednesday. "It sounds like she's going into stores, buying stuff and just handing it out on the street."

It's unclear if Amanda's family will seek to regain conservatorship over her, as they have during past bouts of strange behavior.

Bynes' relationship with her parents and siblings has become increasingly strained during the latest bout. Before being committed, Bynes had gone on an epic Twitter rant, leveling serious sexual abuse allegations against her father. She later deleted the accusing posts, then joked about the whole ordeal.

She said a "microchip" implanted in her brain was controlling her.
