An Amish woman and her daughter were killed over the weekend when a truck slammed into their horse-drawn buggy in Pennsylvania, about 60 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
Mary Byler, 34, of New Wilmington, Pa., and her 11-year-old daughter were pronounced dead on the scene Saturday afternoon after
their buggy collided with a truck, NBC 10 Philadelphia reported.
William Byler, Mary Byler's 35-year-old husband, was injured in the wreck and airlifted to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio.

Police told NBC 10 that Matthew Coulter, 36, of Pulaski, Pa., was driving the truck. His condition was not immediately available.
It's not yet clear what caused the crash, but state police have launched an investigation.
