Amy Schumer Prank Fall on Red Carpet With 'Kimye' Not a Setup

Amy Schumer's prank fall in front of rapper Kanye West and his reality star wife Kim Kardashian – aka 'Kimye' – at Time's 100 Gala in New York City was the highlight of a big week for the comedian who's been on a roll lately.

Schumer told People magazine that the red carpet photobomb in front of West and Kardashian was a "game-time decision."

"I saw them, and I asked my publicist, 'Can I dive in front of them and act like I fell?' And she said, 'I can't stop you,'" Schumer told People. "I just dove right down."

While West and Kardashian didn't appear amused by the photobomb, Schumer said she was able to talk with them at the gala.

"They were like, 'What?' Kim was worried for me, and I think Kanye was just, like, scared that I was doing something," said Schumer. All three were honored for making Time's list of the 100 most influential, noted People.

The dive lit up social media.

On Monday, Schumer managed to embarrass late night talk show host David Letterman in another viral moment. On "The Late Show with David Letterman," the retiring host told the comedian, "since we probably won't be on the show together again, do something now that you'll regret."

Schumer proceeded to pull up her skirt to her thigh to reveal a scar she received while surfing, but told Letterman, it was her "vagina." The clip of the exchange has been viewed nearly three million times on YouTube.
