Aniston: Pitt Divorce Not 'Painful' Anymore

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt famously split in 2005, but Aniston said in a recent interview that the divorce no longer pains her.

In an extended interview with CBS News for her starring role in the independent film "Cake" — which has already netted her a Golden Globe nomination — Aniston was asked if it was "painful" when people bring up the divorce.

"I don't find it painful," she said, rebuffing the interviewer's suggestion. "I think it's a narrative that follows you because it's an interesting headline. It's more of a media-driven topic."

"You've moved on, clearly," said the interviewer in response.

"Well, everybody has!" she laughed.

Aniston went on to say that she is still in communication with Pitt, who married longtime girlfriend Angelina Jolie this year.

"We've exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other, but [communication is] not a constant thing," she explained.

While Brangelina is busy raising six kids together, Aniston has also moved on, getting engaged to actor Justin Theroux.

Asked about the rumors that the engaged couple may be getting cold feet, Aniston cried hooey.

"We know what our truth is," she said, confidently. "That's all just static."
