10 Baby Names That No One Chooses Anymore

There was a time when parents were very fond of naming their girls Edna and their boys Bennie, but that’s now a thing of the past.

These now out-of-favor baby names have been replaced by countless new ones that were ushered in along with the new millennium. 

The changing trends are partially due to the fact that parents have a much larger database of names to choose from. Some parents even pay thousands to a Swiss company dedicated to generating unique baby names, The Huffington Post noted.

Stacker recently conducted an analysis to determine which once-popular baby names were slowly phasing out of existence. By consulting the Social Security Administration’s historical archives of baby names, the news outlet developed a list of the top baby names that no one uses anymore. Here are 10 for boys and 10 for girls:
