A Banksy painting showing two kissing British police officers sold at a Miami auction Tuesday for $575,000, an amount at the low range of estimates, while two of his other works fell below expectations.
The three Banksy works were included as part of a street art auction by Fine Art Auctions Miami. The sale also featured works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Bambi, and Keith Haring.

Banksy's "Kissing Coppers" was projected to fetch between $500,000 and $700,000. The 2005 mural was sold to an anonymous buyer for $480,000 plus $95,000 in fees,
making the total $575,000, The Los Angeles Times reported. The black-and-white stencil was spray-painted on the Prince Albert Pub in Brighton, England, then later removed to stand alone.
The two other works — "Bandaged Heart" and "Crazy Horse Car Door" — went unsold because they didn't receive their minimum bids, Ashley Jimenez,
a spokeswoman for Fine Art Auctions Miami, told The Associated Press.
"Bandaged Heart" had appeared on a warehouse in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., while "Crazy Horse Car Door" was spray painted on the rear door of a car in Manhattan and features a struggling figure surrounded by galloping horses.
The mysterious British artist unveiled the two unsold works around in New York City in October, prompting fans to embark on a daily treasure hunt for new additions to the "Better Out Than In" series.
