As of Thursday, Snyder’s photo had nearly 15,000 retweets. Back in May, he tweeted a photo of what appeared to be a tarp covering the Batmobile.
The latest photo is said to be the first official photo released of the updated version of the Batmobile. There are what look like machine guns attached to the front, making it the
most “weaponized” version of The Dark Knight’s ride, according to CNN.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. The movie that was shot in Detroit most of the summer also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane. On Aug. 26, Snyder tweeted a video of Adams and Cavill taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
In August, Warner Bros. and DC announced that “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” now has a March 25, 2016, release date, moved up from the original date of May 6, 2016, the same date scheduled for the opening of Marvel's "Captain America 3."
