Bindi Irwin, the 15-year-old daughter of "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, said in a recent interview she's "a big advocate for young girls dressing their age."
Speaking with
Australia's News.com.au on Monday, Irwin explained that she enjoys being her age, and thinks many girls are in too much of a rush to appear older.
"I mean, for me, I look around at a lot of young girls that are my age and they're always trying to dress older. Whether it's wearing revealing clothes or hardly wearing any clothes at all, I feel really bad for them. It kind of has the opposite effect in some ways . . . it kind of does the opposite where it makes you look younger and like you're trying too hard."

Irwin said she is looking forward to her 16th birthday next month on July 24, and plans to spend the day at the Australia Zoo.
Asked if she's begun to be interested in cigarettes or alcohol, which tempt many teens, she said "I love a cup of tea and a good book and none of that really interests me."
After the interview, Irwin received heaps of praise from her fans, who wrote to her on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
One celebrity, however, was not pleased with Irwin's comments, and took to Twitter to voice her opinion.
Caitlin Stasey, 24, formerly starred on "Neighbours," and has been known to post racy topless photos on Instagram as part of the "Free The Nipple" movement.
The Daily Mail explained that, "Caitlin has distanced herself from the clean school girl image established on the long-running soap and since moving to Hollywood has accepted a role on racy period drama 'Reign,' which saw her feature in a solo sex scene in the very first episode."
Stasey drew backlash from many girls on Twitter, who criticized her for attacking a 15-year-old, for attacking Irwin's positive message, and for not being a good role model herself.
Many of Stasey's detractors pointed her to a tweet of Irwin's that was posted before the flap, urging the actress to be more thoughtful.
