"The Brady Bunch" and "Game of Thrones" have absolutely nothing in common at first glance — until The Wil Wheaton Project got hold of the two and made a Brady-ish lead-in to the popular HBO series.
Pilgrim Studios promoted the mashup as “The Game of Thrones opening you didn’t know you were dying to see,” on YouTube.

“You know, ‘Game of Thrones’ has one of the greatest title sequences in the history of television,” Wheaton said in the intro. “It gives us a wonderful view of Westeros and its houses. But it doesn’t tell us anything about the characters and their relationships.”
Of course, after watching Wheaton’s idea of the relationships, it may fall in the category of “didn’t need to know.”
“Here’s a story, of a clan named Stark. Ned was noble, so he died pretty quick,” one verse begins, continuing to shed enlightenment on the sexual antics and murdering habits of the characters.

"Thrones" fans loved Wheaton’s creativity and admitted it wasn’t a bad explanation of the HBO show.
One person even pre-empted Wheaton’s release with a connection between the two shows in March:

Fans weren’t laughing at the unexpected finale of Season 4, which
CNN said had about 1.5 million downloads within 12 hours of the airing. TorrentFreak, which monitors piracy, said 250,000 users shared the same file and the illegal downloading wasn’t unexpected because of the show’s popularity.
