Brett Rossi Hospitalized: Charlie Sheen's Ex Rushed to ER for Overdose?

Brett Rossi, Charlie Sheen’s ex-fiancee, was hospitalized over the weekend for what was initially reported as a drug overdose, though a source later claimed the adult film star had an adverse reaction to prescription medication.

"Her hospital stay was due to an adverse reaction to a newly prescribed medication," the source told Us Weekly. "The rumors that she had her stomach pumped due to an overdose are completely false. [Rossi] has always been an advocate for living a healthy, sober lifestyle and has never had a history of substance abuse in her past."

A close friend reportedly found Rossi unresponsive in her home over the weekend, RadarOnline.com reported, saying she was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she spent a night in the intensive care unit.

Sheen, 49, and Rossi, 25, who also goes by the name Scottine Sheen, were set to wed this month, but the engagement was called off in October, the New York Daily News reported.

"Charlie and Scotty have been in communication and Charlie still has a tremendous fondness for Scotty and continues to wish her all the best," Sheen’s representative,Jeff Ballard, told the Daily News at the time.

Twitter users expressed concern over the situation.
