Bristol Palin, the outspoken daughter of former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, went on an online rant last week defending "Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson and lashing out at the gay community.
"Everyone needs to leave Phil Robertson alone for expressing his beliefs," the 23-year-old wrote in a blog post last week. "I think it's so hypocritical how the LGBT community expects every single flippen [sic] person to agree with their lifestyle. I hate how [they] say it's all about 'love' and 'equality,' however, if you don’t agree with their lifestyle, they spread the most hate. It is so hypocritical it makes my stomach turn. They need to learn how to respect others' opinions and not just jump to the conclusion that everyone who doesn't support homosexuality and gay marriage is homophobic."
Robertson was infamously suspended from his family's hit A&E reality show "Duck Dynasty" last week after he was accused of making anti-gay comments in a recent interview with GQ magazine.

"Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there — bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,"
Robertson told GQ, explaining how sin spreads. "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers — they won’t inherit the kingdom of God," he continued, paraphrasing Corinthians.
Bristol Palin mirrored her mom's comments from earlier last week.
"Free speech is an endangered species," the former governor of Alaska wrote in a Facebook post. "Those 'intolerants' hatin' and taking on the 'Duck Dynasty' patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us."
